We first became aware of Sequoia when they were building a brand new pool for some friends of ours. We were really impressed with the speed and quality of the work/design, and started talking… We had been considering remodeling our pool for some time — it was older with cracked concrete & coping, darker/rough plaster, and a tricky shape. Jonathan and Itay blew us away with a complete reimagining of our pool — a hot tub, pavers, coping, and an outdoor BBQ. The design — which utilized the existing shape & space, but did so in a smart and elegant way — was stunning. When it came time to give the greenlight we were an enthusiastic “YES!” And we’re so glad we did. Between the beautiful design, attention to detail, clear communication, daily check ins, and the speed & quality of the work, we were thrilled with how it came out. We just had our first pool party of the season this past weekend — nothing but complements from all of our friends! We couldn’t be any happier with our decision! We’ve hired contractors for several large projects over the years, and without a doubt working with Sequoia was the best experience we’ve had by a long shot. In addition to delivering an amazing backyard that we enjoy daily, their level of project management went above and beyond. Itay kept us in the loop every step of the way with his phone calls, text reminders, and meticulous records. Jonathan was onsite regularly, checking on the work and fielding our questions. Sequoia handled their billing at a professional level way ahead of their peers. Both Jonathan and Itay are extremely warm, trustworthy, and sincerely fun to talk to. You should always get multiple bids for a project like this, and I encourage you to make Sequoia one of them. You’ll end up hiring them.

The last part of our home remodel was doing our front yard. I was absolutely dreading the permitting process, because the city of Beverly Hills is impossible to work with. Itay and Johnathan made it very easy, and we didn’t have a single hiccup the entire time. Anyone will tell you that there are always problems when you work with a contractor, but I am happy to report that we didn’t even have one. The icing on the cake was that they told me it would take 8-12 weeks, and we finished in less than 6 from the day they started! I would highly recommend!
